I just bought a new Samsung DLP with HDMI. My old Mits bit the dust and besides it was 4 years old. (rear projection). Now, I can not get the HDTIVO HDMI to work. When I switch the TV to that imput, the TV says that there is no signal. Am I doing somthing wrong? The TV input shows active, but no signal. Thanks in advance. Mark

Try Hooking Up Everything The Way You Want It And Reboot The Hd Tivo.

To piggy back of your question. According to Panasonic my Plasma supports both 720p and 1080i, but when I switch the HDTIVO box to 720p I don't get a picture just a bunch of scrambled garbage. I however do receive a picture on the other 3 formats(480I, 480P and 1080I). Does anyone know why this is?

Thank you,

Jordan

I assume your "HDTIVO" receiver is the H10-250. I read reviews on several other forums complaining about the poor quality of these receivers built by Hughes. Specifically, many people had problems with the HDMI output. One poster had to return (THREE) units to Best Buy before obtaining one where the HDMI port worked successfully.
