Did you intend to provide a link to the website? Otherwise we have no idea what you're talking about.

Dude i would be really cautious when buying a TV online, because when you get your set its yours. No turning back when online buying.Theres not much you can do as far as a manufacture warranty goes since most of them are not authorized dealers.I would ready the sticky thread in this section and see some reviews.I would be hesitant since they are stating the reg price is $5,999.99 The KDSR60XBR1 MSRP is $4,999.99 The price there selling it as is way low too.Even wholesalers will tell you thats bewlow there cost.

If you don't research online retailers with the same scrutiny you shop for the toys, you get what you deserve.
There are several topics on online purchases and who to deal with. And yes, some are authorized by manufacturers.
If your only criteria is the price at the bottom of barrel, toss the dice.

Ohhh, I guess I can put my fire extinguisher away! :D

FYI, the current MSRP of the KDS-R60XBR1 is $4,499.99. It should continue to drop as summer approaches, due to the impending introduction of new models to replace the current SXRD's in the summer-fall.

I too would be very suspicious of a retailer claiming the MSRP is $1,500 more than the actual price, especially since the highest MSRP for this set was $4,999.99. There are some good on-line retailers out there however. If you do your homework, you can find a good deal.

Having said that, I have to admit when you're buying a product like this where there is so much that can go wrong, you may be better off paying more at a local bricks and mortar store - and getting a good extended warranty that includes lamp replacements, too.

If you wish to pursue an online purchase, check out websites like epinions.com, bizrate.com, nextag.com, etc.

That price is insane!

This is my first post, the guy on the phone sent me a link to this website when I bought a denon 1920 from him last week. Great site, lots of good info.

I just ordered the 60in SXRD from Shop-Sunshine, it arrives tomarrow, I added a new JBL E250p Sub and the Denon DVD to bump up the old system I had.

I can't believe that price, I found Shop-Sunshine on Ebay selling mine for $30080.00 and jumped on it! Their customer service is crap! and they lied about the shipping,5-7 days turned into 17 and when I called, they told me they'd call the shipping company to try and get it here 3 days earlier. I called the shipping company and they never called! I thought they were full of it, and that's why I checked on them.

I'm a little worried about the tv's arrival tomarrow and it's condition, it has been driven from NY to Ca!

I bought the 3 year warranty, so, I hope that helps?
