I found a new Sony KD-34XBR960. Not sure if it is an N model. Have not seen the box yet. Just wanted some input. Should I buy this model. I've heard it is the best. Not 100% sure on the price might be $1300. Should I get her before she is gone our just wait and maybe get LCD or Plasma in the future.

If I didn't already have an XBR910, I would get an XBR960. It isn't a big deal though and if you don't want to mess with the behemoth, an LCD, Plasma and DLP look great also. I personally still prefer the Sony XBR910/960 CRT to other similar size screens regardless of display type. I have a 720p LCD front projector for movie nights, requiring a dark room, but sure wouldn't want to have to live with only one or the other of my two HD displays. I must have both after owning both for sometime now.

Buy the XBR!!!

Just got mine Friday and I love it!! As long as you have the room and can get someone to help you if you need to move it. CRT's still have the best Picture and Clarity, Plus the price is a bargin.

:) Buy the XBR! If it is a 960N better yet. A slight softwear upgrade, and a new anti-glare coating on the Super-Fine Pitch tube. I got one a month ago and it rules.
