Is anyone in the Nashville area getting HD locals yet? They are supposed to start today.

ABC and NBC are on in Kansas City, but no CBS or FOX. So some of them are coming on.

my dish and H20 last weekend didn't align the dish properly. I've got nothing on sat 99... Someone else is coming out Friday...

I can not believe the installers. In installed my own 5lnb dish. I took my H10 and a small tv outside and aligned the dish that way. Im getting high 80s to mid 90 signal strengths. And when the local HD progamming started today, they came on also. I quess they dont pay enough to hire some one that can read an instruction manuel.

I've not been paying attention lately so what I learned from DTV today may not be news to any of you. I have a Hughes HR10-250 hi-def DTV Tivo unit that I purchased about 18 months ago for about $1k. A DTV rep told me today that although the Nashville local channels are now available in hi-def that I would need a new dish and receiver to be able to watch them. My first reaction is that this is a major rip-off. She did say an offer would be available later this year when a new unit was available. Does anyone know if this is indeed a major rip-off or if DTV plans to keep their customers happy with a decent offer? The answer will determine whether I am still a DTV customer when the new unit is available.
