I have a question about the cable needed for a 5 lnb dish. Is it the same cable as Icurrently have with my non hd dvr. It is RG6 cable. I'm hoping I won't have to change the cables, because Ihave some of them concealed in my home. Thanks

I have read that RG-6 is still OK, but you may need to change over to compression connectors.

RG-6 Cable Is Cable of choice- New Ends Should be either crimped or compressed on the existing cables, for the one less chance of failure.

Every Splice is a Chance for failure, The less you have the better off you are.
