Why no Rangers/Bruins in HD on OLN? Should be on in the 90's. Damn!

Im with ya... I was counting on some HD hockey tonight... was VERY disappointed! D* needs to get their ass in gear and get MSG-HD, OLN-HD and INHD.... they claim to be the sports tv provider.... but right now, cant say I agree.

I agree...there was really nothing on the 90s channels and it blows not to have some HD hockey when we are in the homestretch.

Was it because there was a basketball game on at 10 or 10:30?

From what I can figure out, it was because INHD also had the HD rights to the game... therefor since D* does not have INHD.... we dont get that specific game.

I was vastly disappointed in the absence of HD for the game last night, and sent an e-mail to Direct complaining, requesting an explanation, and urging resolution, since OLN has some of the Cup playoffs.
I would like to understand the comment about InHD having some rights to the game, as I thought OLN had exclusivity, thus there would have been no valid reason for the HD broadcast to be blacked out.
Thanks.

Just ran across it on a HD sports related site... it said that OLN had rights and INHD had the HD rights.... figured that is why it wasnt being shown on channel 94 like Monday OLN-HD games usually are.

I could be wrond about this, it's been a while since I looked into it, but.
Isn't both OLN and INHD both own by the same company....
Someone correct me on this, if I am wrong.

That would explain why D* has such difficulies getting rights to HD hockey.

They will have to be more agressive bidding for the rights , if they want them, next time the oppertunity comes up.
Originally, NO ONE wanted the NHL. Remember ESPN had the rights and gave them up.
