this is what im looking for:

the best hdtv i can get for 600 or less. 16 x 9 is a requirement. i will use this solely for watching basketball games so sports have to look good and clear. 2 hd inputs would be a plus. i have no idea what to get. can anyone give me any suggestions? are my needs affordable? thanks.

What do you plan on using for HD reception?
OTA receiver, cable or satellite?

Your Comcast HD cablebox will receive 720p/1080i and then feed your TV a 1080i signal (you need to set the cablebox to 1080i output).
