Has anyone had problems with the 250 dropping the hdppv, cd usa hd and channel 95. I have them in my favorites and every day I have to go back in check mark the channels again. Is thier a down load or is my box having issues?

This happens to me too. I just add them again, but it is very annoying. Can someone help?

What do you mean by adding them again? You mean in your favorites or something else. Can't wait for the MPEG4DVR but that will have issues as well I am sure...

I'm having the same issues. Here's my "speculation" as to what's happening:

With the HR10-250, by default, when a "new" channel is added it is not automatically added to the Channels You Receive in the receiver. For whatever reason, I think DirecTV is constantly dropping and then restoring these channels from their channel list. When this happens you have to go back into the 250 menus and re-add them to your Channels You Receive (and Favorites if you use that function).

In summary, it is a combination of the way the 250 functions and DirecTV dropping and adding these channels.

I don't lose them on Sony SAT-300HD but it automatically adds "new" channels to the channel listings.

Just my guess...

You might wanna call customer service.I have had the same receiver for 6+ months, and they wasted bandwidth channel cdusa has been on my since they added it to the line-up.Channel 95 has been on my guide everyday too.Maybe your receiver needs to dial out to update the guide. But I would call customer service first and explain to them whats going on.

Do you have them in your Favorites? Do you use Favorites? If you view the Guide in "ALL" channels mode you'll never notice this phenomenon.
