Does anyone know how many leads the 5 LNB dish will have. If it is 4 like the 3 LNB dish, is it possible to create the effect of more than 4 so as to run more than receivers?

I have 4 distinct wires coming from my 5 LNB. The installer put in a switch to allow up to 8 outputs for multiple receivers or dual tuners. I needed this becuase I have 4 receivers but will get the MPEG4 DVR when available. He assured me there is no loss of signal quality with the TERK switch he installed. HD has worked fine.

You do need a multiswitch that has the expanded frequency range.

Did you have to pay for the Terk multiswitch that he installed?

No, I did not have to pay for the 6 X 8 switch. I did pay 19.95 originally for service & handling because I ordered over the phone to ensure 5 lnb and H20.
