is there a way to get these setting back to the default? This seems kind of risky!

If fredd knows what a YC Delay is and is trying to fix his, he probably knows a little bit about what he is doing so I'm guessing he is fine. He sounds like he just wants to make his TV better and is wondering what other Samsung users' TVs settings are like.

Sorry, I don't own a Samsung. They look nice to me but I don't like how they cannot disable Scan Velocity Modulation. (If they can, by all means let me know, I might go out and get one immediately).

Samsungs have Service Menu settings for YC Delay? Wow. Stupid Toshiba, they don't have that, and their TV is the one that needs it the most...grrr

For what it's worth, I had this TV for about a week........run, do not walk, to return it! The design of the slim-fit box is such that it is next to impossible for the guns to get a straight geometry on this set....I couldn't help but feel I was watching thru a fish-eye lens. I think Samsung dropped the ball on this particular line. Gonna scrape up my pennies and stay with LCD....

Also, being tube TV's (analog), one person's default settings will not give you the same effect in your set......these settings are unique to each set......
