Does directv or an affiliate have a website for tracking the status of your rebate... (most notably the H20 HD receiver rebate or the Directv DVR rebate $200 & $100).

Thanks!

If you weren't given an address at the time you applied for a rebate, then I doubt they have one.

No, you just have to wait eight weeks, call them, ask for the status of the rebate, have them tell you they never got it (since that PO box is a paper shredder), threaten to leave for cable, talk to retention, and get it credited to your bill. Customer service at its best.

I received my $200.00 rebate in 29 days for the H20 from the day I mailed it. I went from Comcast to Direct because cable does not offer HD in my area (south central Florida). I get the Tampa locals in HD. The locals and HD channels are great and the SD channels are usually very good. I am very happy with D* so far.

I mailed my rebate form on December 16th and I got my rebate in the mail on February 10th, so it was within the 8 weeks stated time period.

They told me I would get my rebate in 10 days with no form needing to be filed. Looks like I better call. LOL

Sent mine out on January 18 and received the $200 check today, Feb. 16. Four weeks. I must be one of the lucky ones.

After being told my rebate form would be included with my next billing (which it wasn't) and then being told to download a PDF of a rebate form from the D*TV site (which was an invalid form), D*TV indicated they would mail me the correct form. I received a letter a couple of weeks later describing the HD rebate process and was told to use the "enclosed" rebate form. There was no rebate form enclosed. Now it all starts over again. Pretty good run around to get the rebate form.
