622s not being directly shipped to customers anymore?

When DN called me on 2/2 to reschedule my install date from 2/11 to 2/25, they told me that the 622s were going to be shipped directly to customers, not carried by the installers. However, I've tried calling tech support 4 times in the last two days to find out the shipping status of my receiver. The first one said she thought it was shipping yesterday (2/14) and to call back later for a tracking number. The next three techs said that the installer will bring it on the 25th. And I had them check with their supervisor. Is my receiver being shipped even though they're clueless? Or is the installer going to show up and expect me to have a receiver that supposedly isn't getting shipped? Or are they correct, that the installer will now bring it?

I was told that my installer would bring it. It showed up on my door step a week before my service call. I canceled the service install and got dish to activate the 622 and now I am happy.

As expected, they were wrong. It arrived on Friday. :)

Just curious, I thought since the 622 was a lease and belonged to Dish, only a installer could set it up without Dish getting upset. Just something I read on another forum site.

I'm a dealer and I'm able to set up a 622 receiver but I can not get one so far even by myself.
