Audio on CBS in Chicago

Ever since last night I noticed strange audio problems on all programs. It's kind of like an echo while someone is talking. I wish I could explain the sound, it's kind of like certain words are being electronically "stretched". Anybody noticing this? It's doing it on "60 Minutes" right now! Only on the CBS station

It started a couple of nights ago.

I noticed while watching the Olympics that some of the segments seemed to echo (watching on the H20, local NBC HD in Atlanta). It was only at certain times, but it seemed like the audio had a split second echo to it.

Have no problems on NBC in Chicago.

actually i noticed the exact same issue this past fall on cbs hd while watching through my comcast system...makes me think it's something on the cbs side rather than comcast/directv or my own tv receiver. thank goodness.

Have the same audio problems. Between the audio and the pixelation problems in Chicago the cbs hd channel is not watchable. Caller Id does not work, called directv and the way they sounded they are aware of the problems but who knows.

i only noticed it, however, while watching college football on cbs. i did all the checks of other channels and it was clear that cbs' college football coverage in high def had a distinct (and annoying) tinny sound.

I have had the same problems with CBS on all programs for at least two weeks. Does anyone have an update from D* to see if they are fixing the problem. My HD on CBS looks like crap also.
