Optoma EP739, HD DVD, 50ft HDMI/DVI, ScreenGoo...?

Ok, I'm BRAND-NEW :hithere: to the projector world. I own a medium-size night club/bar in Downtown Dayton, OH and we just installed a new Optoma EP739 DLP HD projector.

It is ceiling mounted about 15ft from viewing wall. We are using a Samsung DVD-V9500 up-scaling DVD player via a 50-ft SonicWave HDMI to DVI cable.

The 720p & 1080i images look wonderful on my flat white wall, but we are going to paint it with ScreenGoo "Digital Grey" base & topcoats.

Has anyone experienced a similar setup? How does this all look together? Any good ideas for a better picture?

Thanks in advance guys!

I've got Screen Goo and it definitely will improve your image over the flat white surface you have now.

ScreenGoo is "supposed" to be the greatest thing in projector technology. It's basically special non-reflective gray paint. After many reviews, I decided to try it before buying an expensive screen.

I bought the "Digital Gray" kit from a ScreenGoo reseller for under $200, so it's MUCH less than buying a large high-quality screen.
