Magnetic Shielding

I have a set of Boston Acoustics Subsat 6 speakers that I want to use with my Panasonic TH-50PHD8UK but I understand the only speaker that is shielded is the center speaker.. My questions I pose is how far can I place the satellite speakers from the plasma without magnietic interferance??

OR,,, is there a way I can shield the speakers and not disrupt their performance..

If I have posted this in the wrong thread, administrator, please move to the proper thread.. Thanks..

First of all, only CRT (picture tube) based displays will be affected by magnetic fields. Your plasma should not be affected.
For other TV's, normally 3 or 4 feet away is sufficient. But there are many variables. You can try it. If you are too close you will immediately notice some change in the picture (TV on, of course) either a distortion and/or false coloring of the image near the same location as the speaker(s). In this case, move the speaker further until the picture is normal.
