What kind of HD Rear Projection tv do you think I can get for 2k?

Do you guys have any suggestions? Used? Model numbers? I'd really like to get 1080p.

My friend gets wholesale on Samsung, so I could get the Samsung 1080p one (forget the model number.. 56" tho) for around 2k, but would like to see if there's anything else out there for the price...

Really wanted the Toshiba 56HM195, but the lowest I could find on that was 2450.

THanks

Shit I wish I could have gotten a 1080p for $2000. I paid just under that for a 50" Samsung DLP (HLR5067W) which I'm very happy with, but you know, wouldn't mind a 1080p especially for that price.

I got mine for $3k out the door. You can buy them online for $2,400 + $300 for shipping for a total of $2,700. That extra $300 was worth it to me to have a physical place. :hithere:

For $2K, it's most likely a 720p/60 set, not 1080p/60.
