speaker installation

Hi I just recently purchased a digital panasonic receiver, wall mounts, and the 5.1 Aperion Audio Intimus 422 speaker system. I'm not sure if I should try to mount the speakers on the wall and let the wires show & paint them or have a professional snake the wires through the wall. It's quite costly to have the speakers professionally installed (Aprox $450 and up.) What do you guys think I should do? Also do you guys know any place or person that you can recommend to do the job who is reasonable? I'd very much appreciated your help.

I would return the mounts and purchase stands instead. they will have wire management, so as long as you can disguise the wire going around the room to the rear surrounds, this will save you some cash. alot of times there is enough space under the trim moulding and between the carpet to stuff two speaker wires into. Otherwise, homedepot will have wire management stuff to help. there are conduit options and such that actually look good.
