I am guessing that you are talking about the DISH1000. In your area the 129 should be easy to get. Do you have just a DISH500 now, or do you have a second dish for locals?

Your other questions are to up in the air for me to answer.

The $99 install they will either add an extra single 18 inch dish and switch to get 129 or replace your existing dish500 with a dish1000 instead. Ask dish for the details.

PS: A dish1000 is not the same as a Superdish even though both pickup 3 sats at once. The Superdish get either 121 or 105 FSS satellite and therefore needs to be at least 30 inches. The dish1000 adds 129 and is only 24 inches.

They do call the Dish1000 a Superdish. I don't know why?

They do call the Dish1000 a Superdish. I don't know why?Dishnetwork has never referred a dish1000 as a superdish. Some customers are a bit confused because both of them get 3 sats and look simular except the dish1000 is smaller and less oval than superdish. But if someone mistakenly orders a superdish they'll be very unhappy when they don't get Voom.
