HD-TV for Xbox 360

I'm new here, and wanted to test the waters a little. Whenever i get my xbox 360, i want to enjoy it on a HDTV. Currently i am looking at a slew of crt tubes ranging from 26'' to 30''. I was wondering if anyone has any specific models to lean towards to, or back away from. On my list atm are Toshiba 26HF85, Samsung TXP-2764 27" Neo Series DynaFlat™ Digital HDTV Monitor,Samsung TX P2675WH....and a lot more.

I am looking for something like $450 and lower, and supports up to 1080i and all that fun stuff. In general, i heard about going widescreen vs staying regular aspect ratio. what do u guys feel would be the best choice for me?

Any of those models will do fine. In the price range you're in, there isn't much difference between them. You'd have to get up to a Sony 30" HS420 or XS955 for example before you see a difference. As for widescreen, stick with it, stay away from 4:3 TVs. The games will all be in widescreen format.

I doubt you'll find any progressive scan 720p or 1080p displays in your price range, but progressive scan is far better for gaming & PC use than interlaced CRTs.

Definately ONLY widescreen.
