Im needing to buy a new TV and decided to upgrade to HD. I saw this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7071633&productCategoryId=pcmcat31800050029&type=product&tab=1&id=1110265591947 at Best Buy and was wondering if its a good quality TV. Tried looking on Cnet but to now avail. Thanks for any feedback !

max the Toshiba should be a good tv.

I like the Toshiba because you can enter in through the service meny and trim the colors for a more accurate greyscale.

True for the most part, for any display.

I am looking at this HD-Ready set too. It is supposed to be on sale on Black Friday for nine hundred at Sears & Best Buy. My main question is what does All time 1080i with User Selectable 540p mean? No one has answered this for me on the other boards I post on. One person said not to worry about it since it has 1080i. I thought most HD sets also have 480i, 480p, and 720p. I don't want to get this set if it is going to limit the picture quality because it only has 1080i & 540p. Also, how will this set handle HD programs in the future? This set might be a good value right now, but will it be lacking needed features in a couple years? I have only found 3 reviews on this set, 1 good & 2 bad. If anyone has this set please comment on the HD and SD picture quality.

Thanks

At Electronic Express here in Nashville for $1995. They matched Best Buy's price. It was $2500... Had it for a couple months and no problems. It is the 16x9 screen. I know it isn't hooked up exactly right. When my knee gets better I'll make some changes.
