Got dish with a VIP222k receiver, currently have my bedroom tv hook to it and it has a cable with a antenna that was being used in the other bedroom. I now need to have the front room TV working using the Antenna. Had a cable box hooked to front room, and it went bad. Got the other remote from the other bedroom that used the antenna. Don't understand how to make this work. Thanks for any help.

I would be happy to assist you with this. You need a cable from the receiver from TV 2 on the receiver to your living room. Do you know if the technician already ran this cable for you? Please let me know. Thanks.

Have cable run thru the house. The front room TV has a cable that was hooked into a cable box. Do I need a cable run from the modulator to the front room TV.?

On the back of the receiver, in the center, is a TV distribution port, coax port CH 21-69 OUT. Do you have a coax cable connected to this port? Here is a link with a picture towards the bottom of the page of the back of the receiver. Please let me know. Thanks.

Yes have the cable hooked up on that port, have gone thru the book and setup for TV-2 for REM ADDR:2 TV Channel out : 75.
Got the cable hooked directly into the TV in front Room and set to channel # 75. Now I'm lost on how to get cable guide to work on TV-2 (Living Room). Got Blue light on Receiver Box.

Is the coax directly fed from the receiver to your TV in the living room? On the modulator setup screen, TV 2 output shows channel 75? What type TV do you have in the living room, HD or older TV?

If the answer to both these questions is yes, unplug the receiver from the electrical outlet for 10 seconds to have the receiver reboot.Yes have the cable hooked up on that port, have gone thru the book and setup for TV-2 for REM ADDR:2 TV Channel out : 75.

The TV in living room is a Mitsubishi 60" new model. Not worried about HD, but would be nice. Now the Modulator has three cables with the main cable on one side. Cables in the back of box with the following.
Cable to Satellite 1
Cable to Satellite 2
Cable to home distribution.
Also cable to Remote Antenna with a small antenna hook on it.

The cable doesn't go directly to the TV.

So the technician is using a triplexer (what you described on the back of the receiver), which means he is backfeeding the signal for your TV 2 through the cables going outside (however it was run from the dish to your receiver).

Please tell me what TV 2 OUT shows on the following screen. Press Menu on your TV 1 remote to display the Main Menu on your TV. Press the numbers 6, 1, 5. This displays the Modulator Setup screen on your TV. Does this screen show channel 75 for your TV 2 OUT? Please let me know. Thanks.

Please unplug the receiver for 10 seconds and plug back into the electrical outlet. The receiver cord has a red tag attached to it. When the receiver begins to download the program guide, press select on TV 1 remote to stop the download. Once you get a picture back on TV 1, please check TV 2 on channel 75 to see if you have picture. Thanks,

Unplug receiver and then went into front room and put on Channel 75 and all I got is Fuzz. The remote don't even do anything.
