Yes if it is a VHF/UHF antenna. Most DTV is on UHF.

They still sell the antenna at RS, so I guess it will work, which is great. I have Dish Satellite, would it pay me to hook my HDTV to the rooftop antenna?? CBS is 30 miles NBC, ABC are 50 miles

As long as you have the antenna........ use it.
If you need a rotor, I suggest the CM 9521A..........
* bought at Lowe's

John!

I'm in fisherman's paradise, but I don't fish anymore.

The only thing I can come with for BWO is Bodies Without Organs (?) Is that it??

Not chained to the roof yet, been working on installing a DN1000 dish to get 110/119/129 tps on E*5, as I can't get VOOM on the 61.5 bird as it's only 12 degrees elevation and 92 degrees az (right into the mountain!). At least the 129 is 40.7E and 170.5A, a clear shot for me.

See what you lucky Easteners face if you moved west! :)

Hope the house is going well, John!

And my best to Mr. Maicaw.

Medford, OregonAre ever tried a bigger dish for the 61.5?I'm surrounded by mountains too(My elevation for 61.5 is 68 and the Az is 176)And I locked the signal with a 4'.I'm no suggest you should use that big but at least with 36" you can try.

Ola, technoguy! Love PR. Spend a lot of time in Aguadilla on the west coast in the winter.

If I had a 68 degree elevation shot for the 61.5, I'd have it made, even with the mountain there. But 12 degrees is almost into the dirt!

The DN1000 is about a 36" dish. Wish I could put up a C-band, but we have restrictions at this address about big antennas, and it's NOT the HOA, either! LOL

Matter-of-fact, if I could have an Arecibo-size dish in the back yard, I'd be a happy camper, indeed!

Best wishes and thanks, my friend!

Your wife must be real pleased with that move.........
Did you sell the fish, or does the wife plan on taking them with her when she leaves? .................. ;)
Its been raining for a week here in PA. I feel like I'm living in Oregon or Wash. anyway.

Send pictures of your new 'baby' if you can.

*BWO.............. this is FF lingo not CSI stuff. You and Maicaw need to get out more. Think streams and trout!

** catch / release............ *** BWO............. ;) still think --"catch / release" even in McKenzie or Rogue valleys conjures up the local jail as much as a Blue-Winged Olive flicked onto a riffle :D - I have a 90cm dish on my roof with a DiSEqC 1.2 rotor and viewsat VS2000 rcvr -
anyone have much experience with a winegard sat finder - mine seems to pick up the sun and its "multibath images" as much as sats -
-- so far not much luck catching any interesting sats -just high powered DBS - think I need some better coax or new lnb ---a work in progress. -I could probably benefit from a new thread here on non-DBS reception but haven't had anyone rise to my BWOs so far. Satelliteguys seem to assume you can reel them in without a problem! [Sorry about so (too) many fractured metaphors JCK :D]

Starting the first of the year, my favorite river, The Little Juniata River (Central Pa) will be 13 miles of fine trout fishing all no kill, catch and release.

Gracias, Carlos for the kind offer!

I surely miss Lechon asado and rinones guisados, washed down by a cold Medalle.

I've travelled to all of the Caribbean, but the food in PR is unbeatable.

I'll PM you before we go this year!

Thanks again, my friend.

My favorite water "The Little Juniata River" in Centra Pa, will, on the first of the year become 13 miles of super Brown Trout dry fly water and total CATCH & RELEASE. Man I am drained after watching the Penn State Michigan game, what a game, too bad someone had to lose.

Flyfisher...... Very good. Good luck on the L.J. next year; I hope we can afford the license fees . Make sure you have plenty of BWOs,
GRHRs and some Stones( black/brown).
Maicaw...... Good research, did you have a problem finding it on Google? From what I've read here...... the sat. guys seem to be 'reeling-in' a 'boatload' of posters here with lying or con-jobs, or both.
Old Analog Guy........ On your way to PR , stop-over in PA.

Holy Marde, John!

What are "BWOs,
GRHRs and some Stones( black/brown)."

I can sleep not knowing what the GRHRs and the BWOs are, but the Stones really bother me.

What in the heck can you use stones for in FF? Weights?

I have only done salmon fishing here and we use roe bounced off the bottom. If you use stones, you don't catch these...

I'll put PA on my short-list, John. Love to see your great home improvements and meet such a clever guy!

Actually I made a typo..................
Should have been GRHE not GRHR........ I'm surprised Maicaw didn't pick-up on that typo.

Did you finish your Dish hook-up??? What can you report???
* check your email.

Maicaw.......... YES, I love nymphs. ... both types..... :D
