Is anyone else experiencing periodic pixelation with local HD channels?
This is from a VIP 722 user. The disruption to picture/audio only occurs on locals during the evening/ early morning hours. SD is marginally better at reducing pixelated picture.
Please advise.

Sounds like a possible uplink problem.
Report it to dishquality at echostar dot com.

I get pixilation on locals even with an antenna connected straight to the TV's. I am only 10 miles line of sight from the antennas. I think it is the stations problems when they try and run -2, -3 and some case -4 with the limited bandwidth

Thank you for your assessment.
It certainly makes one wonder how many other subscribers are experiencing the same issue.

I am in the same market as you but I live 50+ miles from the station transmitters (Las Cruces) and I rarely get any drop outs.

My main point is that it is not a Dish only problem. My antenna is separate from Dish and I still get "occasional pixilation" and more often audio (syllable) drops.
