Hi All......I need some advice here. I just came home with two new toys. One is a samsung 32" Led Tv ( 4000 series - UN32D4000N ) and the new samsung smt c5320 cable box from my local cable provider ( cablevision of new york ). The video / audio sync is HORRIBLE, its happening on all channels. Some channels are really bad and some are a little less noticable, but its happening a lot and I dont know what to do. I have a basic set up........coax to the samsung box, hdmi to the tv and thats it. Picture is ok, but again, the audio / video sync sucks. I swapped out the hdmi for component cables and they do it too. I just went and returned the samsung set top box for a replacement and there is no difference. I am really pissed here. My only other tv is a samsung plasma 42" with a scientific atlanta dvr and there is very little to no audio / video sync problems. I dont do the home theatre thing, so i have no receivers or anything like that hooked up either.

Any ideas?

Thanks !

Just for information, have you tried connecting the coax cable directly to the TV. Perhaps you can use the QAM tuner to get an "in the clear" HD channel. Verify that there is NO audio sync problem with the cable signal first. If there is NONE, then it would seen that there IS a problem with the cable box.
