Comcast cable feed issue

I am trying to figure out an issue hope for your help.

I have a TV mounted above the fireplace upstairs in living room and a TV in the basement. The signal feed enters the house in the basement. It is split with a comcast provided splitter. 1 feed goes to a DCX3400-M that feeds the LCD upstairs and the other feed goes to DCX3200M which feeds the plasma downstairs.

My issue is when people are operating the DCX3400-M which is fed to the LCD upstairs it is also changing the channels, power, guide etc. on the DCX3200M on the plasma in the basement.

This only started happening when I upgraded to these 2 boxes from a DCX3400 and a DTA.

Thanks for your help..Please ask questions if you need more information

Could be the two devices networking together via the MoCa? Both seem to be media server models so that could be causing some issues? These are all wild guesses.

That was my first thought, but was hoping someone on here had experienced this and could shed some light. The exact same setup with regular digital boxes I didn't have this issue.
