Panny VT25 remote control questions

Does the Panny have a hour/usage meter that can be accessed via the remote? If so, how?

Is it possible to program macro keys on the remote? Things like a one touch button to turn on the tv, blu ray player, switch the tv input to blu ray and open the disk door?

Thanks

The hour meter is accessed through the service menu. Not recommended a user does that.

No, the remote can not be programmed with macros.

Why is it not recommended? I just want to be able to tell when I hit about 150 hours of usage so I can have the tv professionaly calibrated.

I searched through the menu options and did not see the Service Menu. Where is it?

How to check VT25 hours:

1) Hold Vol "-" button down on TV
2) Press in "Info" button on remote THREE times
3) Press 2 button to get Srv Tool
4) Press "OK" on remote
5) Use remote arrows to move to empty cell directly to the right of PTCT:00.00.00.00.00
6) Hold "Mute" for 3 seconds
7) Hours and minutes are displayed, as well as the "Count" (number of times powered on)
8) To exit, hit the Power button on the TV

Don't touch ANYTHING else in the service menu!!
