HDMI cable gauge????

for 3-6' runs will 28ga be sufficient? any benefit going to 26 or 24ga? Thanks for the input.

HDMI is digital ....so the gauge of the cable and distance will not matter...The gauge of the cable would apply if the signal is analog...even at the short range you stated it would not matter anyway...you need to run a very long range to see the difference in analog at different gauge...... more than 10 feet for analog.... HDMI dont worry about it

Wire gauge for HDMI cables is important when you are running in-wall or if the cable would be in a high traffic area. I always use 22 or 24 AWG for in-wall apps, and 28 AWG for my normal interconnect cables.
