What's the best way to access my media and the internet from my TV in the living room

I just got an LCD TV that I'm going to put in my living room, I have a computer in my bedroom with a Wireless N Router, what's the best way to be able to watch TV Shows I torrent and browse the internet lightly, (flash videos, maybe email)

Is an Xbox the best thing to do, since it has NetFlix, etc?

I'm going to try to not have cable this year, and I'm going to get the nfl sunday ticket from directv that you watch online.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

to use the xBox 360, you have to have a paid subscription to xBox Live - extra monthly cost.

I use a Western Digital TV Live Plus box to stream Netflix, Pandora, and any available network shares to media directories on the network. The TV Live Plus box works best with a CAT5e cable. If you insist on a wi-fi connection, the box will require an optional USB wi-fi adapter from this list http://wdc.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wdc.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3805
