SONY KD-34XBR960 Question -HELP ME !

:confused: I saw an earlier post that went on and on about how unreliable this tv is-that it has a high failure rate.But when it is working the picture is
suppose to be great .

I want this tv.Have wanted it for the longest time.But why should I buy a tv that constantly needs to be repaired?

I use to own the Sony KD-34XS955.The picture on that was fantastic and there was no tube failure. I've heard that the XS955 has the same tube as the XBR960..if thats the case then why did'nt my XS955 tube fail? there were no problems with my XS955.

Is the SONY 34 Inch KD-34XBR960 worth buying?Do most of the 34XBR960'S have problems?

Sony has been rumored to be outsourcing their tubes from other companies. Also, every batch of tubes are a little different, and like everything else made in batches, theres the risk of having a bad batch.
