Did anyone really think he was leaving?

If his doc said he should retire, then I believe he would have.

Sorry NBA fans, looks like you'll have to wait another year for your team to win :)

Sure would be interesting if the Bulls get the proper players and end up against Phil in the finals!

Yes, it mostly certainly would. I'm all for it as I highly doubt the Celtics can make it back.

You can't be serious. Miami has three stars and that's it. Nothing else. Kobe and LePippen cancel out and so do Bynum and Bosh. That leaves Wade and 2 D league scrubs vs. Gasol,Artest and Fisher/Blake. And Miami won't have a bench. Wade and LePippen will be playing 45 minutes and just to keep any lead from evaporating while they sit and inevitably one of them will get hurt. Wade has a history of that anyways.

Miami won't even make it past Boston or Orlando (whoever they play first). I think Chicago may be a better team as well.

Edit: just read that Shaq may be trying to weasel his way on the team for the minimum. This is getting disgusting, I suppose Raja Bell is next.

I agree Chi town would have been the better choice but you never know what MIA can come up with. Might get some quality players on the cheap also looking for a ring.

Edit: See!!:p Not Shaq though, that would be pretty dumb.

2004 Lakers all over again.

Reason Boston's big 3 works is because their is no overlap and they all complement each others game. There is a huge overlap with Lebron and Wade. Both will want the ball and both will want to penetrate. Neither has a really good jumper like Kobe. So they will be always trying to score in the paint and by coincidence that's where Bosh will want to hang as well.

Fortunately for the Lakers they are more than capable of defending the paint.
