Sony's been pretty fuzzy on pricing for the PlayStation Move -- we've only really heard "under $100" for the full package with controller and camera -- but it looks like the numbers are starting to solidify, as Gamestop Canada has the controller itself now listed for $59.99. How that number will translate into a US price is obviously up in the air, but Sony's MSRPs tend to be the same or similar across the US and Canada, so we'd say we've at least got a reasonable estimate of how much this thing is going to cost. We'd also guess that this points to a full package price of $99, but we'll see -- Sony's got months before the Move's planned holiday launch to tweak all these numbers.

For me, this needs to include the PS EYE and the nunchuk. Maybe just maybe a $99 bundle if it came with a really bitchin game.

The Sun "revealed" that the UK price will be 45 for the "wand" and "nun chuck" so that also agrees with this pricing structure. You will need a PlayStation Eye on top though.

PS EYEs are running $30-$40 over here.

For a hundo, I want a game too. And not some waggle-ware. I want SOCOM fucking 4.

If there isn't a bundle with some form of game Sony will really be the dumb kid on the bus again.

That's a $160 + tax entry fee for the PS3 MOVE.

Not happening here mang.

I reckon SOCOM 4 will be the big "push it out to the core gamers" flagship title and will have at least a semi decent priced bundle, about $100-120?

 that's just being introduced here. My gf loves the idea and has her little plastic jug you just shove the bag straight into.

What the hell??? Nintendo gets a bunch of crap (not necesarilly undeserving) for their controller set up to cost so much. But for the Tech you get in the actual controller, $40 for a Wii remote is a steal. Why the hell is this thing $60, just because it goes with the PS3? It has a changable LED bulb and bluetooth, so the hell what. What will the Sub Con get priced at? I think this is too much for too little.

The whole bundle at $100 is a pretty good deal then if it happens, but getting a second remote (required for the style fighiting games they are touting) is too damn much money. Again with the PS3 Sony is shooting the cost of entry too high and it will limit the adoption.

Sorry to be ranty, but I think for a controller alone they needed to match the Wii's $40 price point.

I don't think the subcontroller will be too much, it has no accelerometer or anything in it. Will be interesting to see anyway. I think they'll start to bundle consoles with it too.

Neither does the Move itself. Everything is controlled through the Eyetoy right? They chose not to use accelerometers because they thought the camera would be more refined for movement. So the Sub Controller will not have any gyroscopes or accelerometers, nor a LED light for the eyetoy, but it will require bluetooth to talk to the PS3 right? In my estimations (especially given a Move at $60) that puts the Sub con at $30-$40. Even if they can put it out at $20 that is still $80 for a pair, that is too much money.

Details are sketchy but that is what I understand about the whole Tech of the Move. Please correct my where I misunderstand things.

The Move controller has accelerometers in it too (unlike Natal it's a combination of both I believe). The sub controller is literally just a wireless half controller.

I'm with kamspy here...without it being fully bundled with a game (an actual game...not Wii-ware knockoffs), I couldn't give a flying fuck about MOVE.

I already bought a Wii, move and natal dont interest me in the least, there would have to be an amazing non waggle game to get me to gof or either one.
