No. I was looking forward to this sequel because I enjoyed the first one so much. But after seeing the previews, looks like hollywood took a great idea and cheeseballed it up. Too corny.

I saw it at a Friday morning matinee at an AMC IMAX for 10 bucks . I could've and should've watched it across the hall for 6 bucks since that was also a digital projector and the screen is almost as big as their IMAX screen which is actually one of the smaller so-called Liemax screens . I liked it , but felt it could've had a bit more action than the 3 fight scenes in the movie with the one near the end being the longest . More story than slam bang action here as the chest piece power source Stark wears to keep him alive and power the suit is slowly killing him . It had plenty of humor and more of director John Favreau as Tony's assistant Happy Hogan with cameos from Olivia Munn , Kate Mara , and the obligatory Stan Lee cameo as Larry King - for about a second anyway . Mickey Rourke was decent as the villian , if a bit over the top . Sam Rockwell turns in the best performance as smarmy weapons developer Justin Hammer and Samuel L. Jackson does a decent job as Nick Fury who comes along to help Stark when he's at his absolute lowest . ScarJo looks hot in her skintight catsuit and kicks ass in her fight scenes -not the best actress , but then again with her looks she doesn't have to be . A couple of scenes from the trailers were cut out and there is a scene after the closing credits as a tie in to a future Marvel movie . I recommend seeing it as it may be a long time before the next one with Thor, Captain America , and The Avengers up for the next marvel movies . I feel it was just as good as the first one , but with the origin story out of the way I expected a bit more action and that was my only disappointment with Iron2 .

In a question asked on EW Online most people feel 3D would not have benefited this movie . I agree , it looked great in digital 2D and the fast action scenes would have suffered , especially the ones at night looking though those 3D sunglasses .

I haven't seen it.I loved the first one.Iron man was never a fav of mine the comic books i mean. He works well in the avengers. Back in the 60's he split a book with dr. strange. It took till the 70's before he got his own book. No sales caused marvel to again split a book with capt.america, because he wasn't selling well.AT the time after the f.f,thor, spiderman, hulk, the avengers,x-men,daredevil,ironman was somewhat below those books. If what i been hearing about ironman2 holds up as so so,that might be the end of ironman.

We saw it today, and liked it. Tony Stark has created a new (and apparently stable) element.
Also when the ending credits began, we got up to leave.
Someone shouted "there's something after the credits!"
So we sat back down, and waited through at least 100,000
names to scroll by, and two whole songs.
And there WAS a little something.

WHOA! SPOILER ALERT!

My dad and I saw it today and loved it. He was a huge comic book guy as a kid and Iron man is my personal favorite (I'm a nerd as well). I'd say a must see if you're a fan of the series.

I saw IM2 and clash of the titans today. Both were OK. I dunno movies today just don't hold my interest. I dozed off several times while watching both movies. Movies nowadays are too long and boring.

Overall I believe Marvel has done a good job of making one of it's less popular comics with silly villains (Fing Fang Foom anyone?) into an entertaining popular movie franchise . The casting of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark was key to this . If you overlook all the plot holes this and every super hero movie like this one has , it's a fun and entertaining ride !

I quite enjoyed this. I mean, the first one was a bit better, but that's still expected. A worthy sequel, mostly because Robert Downey Jr. is still awesome.

Seen it twice actually but that was because I was out with some friends the other night and they wanted to see it so I joined them even though I already watched it last week.

It is an entertaining movie for sure with great action scenes and special effects. I was glad to see comedy plays a great factor as it did in the first IronMan.

On the negetive side I noticed a lot more plot holes the second time I watched it and I felt it was a little anticlimactic.

All in all it is a decent sequel, as far as sequels go.

I was also thinking about going to see it, but I have heard good and bad things. I really really liked the first one, so I was nervous about ruining it on a sub par sequel. Maybe I will just wait for it to come to redbox.

It was OK but not nearly as good as the first.

Lol...with all the 3D films being advertised all over the walls of the theater I was watching in it, I kinda would have liked it to have been 3D. :p
