My choices a limited when it comes to Plasmas because I have to buy it from Best Buy because of store credit.

Is the Samsung PN50C7000 a good TV? I'll be sitting about 12-15 feet away watching it and watching HDTV and Blurays

What about Plasma Burn ins or blacks turning gray after a certain amount of hours. Is this something I should be worried about.

According to the review, even if the black levels on the G20 double, they will still be twice as dark as those on the Samsung. Interesting

Indeed. Panasonic IS still the King of Plasmas. :D

I would easily choose the G25 over the C7000 based on what that link states from a very reputable calibrator, and the G25 is a lower model than the C7000 & LG model used in the comparisons.

I agree that Panasonic is now King since Pioneer left the market.

We did test quite a few others <<< Click Here >>> (https://clevelandplasma.com/store/2010_television_reviews).

Best LED right now for 2010 is the LG 55LE8500. For the most part we just need to test a PNxxC8000, TC-PxxVT25, and the sleekest set of the year LG 55LX9500.

Getting a Sharp and Sony done would ne nice too, but they get little love......

Panasonic TC-P50G20 $1300 50inch
Panasonic TC-P54G20 - I assume this is the same as above but bigger screen

Panasonic TC-P58S1 $1499 58inch

Panasonic TC-P54S2 $1599

Panasonic TC-P50VT20 $2499 50inch

Samsung PN50C8000YF- I assume this a step up from the 7000 Plasma model.

Here is a description of the Samsung 8000 Model

I would choose either the TC-P54G20 or the TC-P58S1. 58' is the better size, but you sacrifice getting a prior year (and lower end) model to get the best size for your viewing distance. Tough call. Any chance of moving the seating closer and leave room behind that seating for maybe surround speakers behind the seating?
