I'm about to be moving in 3-4 days and I just wanted to know how should i go about moving my TV's only one i am worried about is the 58 inch.
I didn't keep my original box for the tv since i live in a apartment and it takes up alot of space.
I figured people on this forum have gone through moving their TV's and i thought i would ask away.
Thanks for any replies they would be really helpful

Keep it standing upright and protect it with a blanket or some other soft, cushioning material.

Ditto what L2W says. I'd protect it the same way we always protected large mirrors when moving....put it between a couple of mattresses (not box springs), and make sure everything is wedged tight so that nothing can fall over in transit. Make sure it's covered with soft cushioning on all sides.

And once everything is packed, head east toward Georgia. I'll be more than happy to take some of that weight off of you......:D

Find a carton, stuff with some soft or cushioning materials in the bottom. And then place TV in a the carton, stuff soft materials between the spaces. finally, seal the carton.

And make sure you stand it upright. Don't lay it on its side (this has already been stated but it bears repeating).

If you put it between matresses make sure that you don't jam them too tight together (mirrors don't crush, TV's might).
