What exactly do I do for the "break in" period?

Hey I just got my very first plasma (g25). I am a little confused on what I am supposed to do to properly "break in" the TV?? Currently I have it set to THX mode.

Watch it in full screen (no black bars) and change channels every so often so the static station identification icons get changed. other than that, watch away...

Oh ok cool, thanks.

I had read somewhere else about running some program for like 200 hours straight with slide shows of colors or something.

You can do that if you so choose but it is not mandatory or necessary...

I agree. You do not need to run a break in disc/slides and I never did that and my set is great still. Some people do that but it is not necessary nor is it needed IMO.
