Looks like another winner for the PS3. Good timing on your purchase, SOBAY. :)

Platinum Award

The most realistic baseball simulation to date
Everything, right down to the tiniest details like the stitching on the jerseys, is beautifully rendered. The animations (outside of the arm clipping on catchers) are among the best in gaming
The commentary team is dry and often oblivious to the action on the field. Thankfully, users can input their own sound and music
The mechanics havenít changed, but a yearís worth of tuning makes a hell of a difference
This yearís Show makes me feel bad for other sports games. The bar has officially been raised

I would be so surprised if 2k gets anything close to a 9.

I hear the MLB 2KXX games kind of blow. In some ways I feel bad for Take 2. They spent all this money to have a monopoly on the MLB license, but that doesn't cover exclusive licenses. So now they are stuck competing with a 1st party exclusive that continually gets higher review scores.

Of course, in most other ways I laugh at them all the time. Monopolies are shitty and Take 2 has to pay for it.

Now if only somebody could shove Madden in EA's arse. :D
