Using a DP34 Switch with a 1000.2 Dish

Should I be able to use a DP34 switch with my 1000.2 dish?
I just installed a dish 1000.2 , then ran the check switch from my DVR 522 since I don't have my 722 activated yet. It is only showing 110 & 119 for sat's. When I check the point dish screen, 129 shows as wrong sat on 110. 110 & 119 show locked and on correct sat. I did the point dish covering the two outer LMB's and getting best signal on 119 and all seemed to be good. Is there a procedure I missed or is it the age of the reciever or the DP34 ?

You can NOT use a DP34 with that dish and why would you want to, it has 3 outputs on the dish

Thanks for the support?? I am asking the question because I don't know. I think I'll take my questions elseware. Not a very productive answer.

Read my answer, you can not use the DP34 with that dish and no need to use it, the 1000.2 has 3 outputs and each one can run a 522 or your 722. The 34 SW would take 2 cables for each duel tuner 522 and 722.
You need one cable and a seperator on each of your 522/722 boxs. Get the DP34 out of the mix
