I am not a big fan of Samsung but this model is not bad and is solid. Picture is pretty good. I would recommend the Sanyo HT28745 which is cheaper and gives you an extra 2". If you don't need a built in ATSC tuner (subscribe to HD cable or satellite), consider the Toshiba 26HF85. I bought mine for $530 total including shipping. Great TV. Another TV to look at is the Panasonic CT26WX15. Depending on what you are using the TV for (games, DVD movies, HD sports), you might want to get a larger screen and consider a 30" or even a 34". If cost is an issue, the 26" is sufficient for the bedroom or small family room.

I have the TV. I started off with the Toshiba 26" but it kept messing up. The HDMI port flickered and it cut off the bottom of my older video games. I really like this Samsung 26" because it has the tuner in it. I don't plan on going HD with Direct for a while (not much programming) so its nice getting my locals in HD. I did think the Toshiba had a little sharper picture though but not by much.
