hey guys, first thanks for all the help everyone provides on this site. I recently purchased a 55'' vizio led for my living room, along with my first blu ray player, a sony bdp-s360. Everything works great, so i decided to buy another blu ray player for the bedroom(same model) This tv is a philips 32PFL5322D/37. Ive had a upconverting dvd player hooked up via hdmi and had no problems, but with the blu ray i only get the initial sony screen then snow. I have tried different cables that i knew were good, set the output of the blu ray to 720p and still get snow. i have the latest software updates for both. The blu ray works fine through componet cables just not hdmi, I don't understand it, any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated...thanks

chances are the older tv has an older version of hdmi on it. you need hdmi 1.3 and up. you will have to use the component outputs

Have you updated the firmware on the BD player? That is the first step. Also make sure that 24Fps is turned OFF in the player as well. Then make sure that the TV is turned on FIRST, AND on the correc HDMI input BEFORE turning the BD player on.
