I bought this one from amazon

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001K38Z2G/ref=oss_T15_product

The damned hdmi port on the side of the tv is situated so the adapter points in-front of the tv instead of the back.

Anyone got a panny and can recommend an adapter that works? I'd prefer the adapter to getting a whole new cable.

BTW, if anyone wants the one I just wasted money on, drop me your address in a PM, its yours.

I use two of these stuck together in my G10's side input so it makes a nice clean looking U-Turn and enables the HDMI cable to lay flat against the backside of the TV instead of sticking out rearward towards the wall:

Monoprice Item #3850:

Monoprice HDMI Port Savers:

I also use the same #3850 units on the rear inputs when wall-mounting these TVs for friends/family/customers to re-direct the HDMI cables upward, flat against the back panel so they don't stick straight out toward the wall. They work perfect!

Thanks, I actually like the idea of it pointing down for some reason, it's perfect for the other end as well, I have it hooked to my HP Laptop.

Honestly I would have googled for it too, I just can't stand going through 10 of them to find the one that fits, been there before lol.

Thanks

ThanksWell didn't you notice that they make them for all different directions to suit the orientation of your particular input? To point the side HDMI cable straight downward you'll need one like Item # 4859:
