I'm concerned about burn in on a panasonic Plasma TV I just ordered. On alot of my Primium movie channels (Showtime and sometimes STARZ and other channels) they keep their channels logo on the right of the sceen.Couldnt this be bad fora plasma tv and cause burn in?

It never does with my Panasonic plasma. You just need to break it in for 200 hours at lower settings, and then calibrate the picture for an accurate picture after that and you should nhave no problem.

There's a greater chance of burn-in in the first 200 hours than there will ever be in the sets life, take your time and do the break-in properly. You will be rewarded for doing it in the end! :D

Transparent logos present essentially no risk. Opaque logos present a minimal risk but only if left on the screen for extremely extended periods. All phosphor based displays are subject to image retention if abused.
