Samsung Done with DLP

I was just looking on the Samsung site. Looks like they are done with DLP sets. I bought the HL-67A750 last year and it has been a great set. The LED engine makes for a great picture. I was hoping that they would go for an even larger screen, but guess flat pannel now rules.

AFAIK, the only mfg of DLPs now is Mitsubishi, and I wouldn't recommend them based on all the mfg issues they seem to have using low quality components that fail Usually right after the warranty is expired.

I bought a Samsung 56" DLP about 4 years ago and love it. IMO, the PQ is equal to or better than most of the LCD flat screens I've seen, plus it is bigger and cost significantly less. I think this trend towards smaller TVs that cost more is backwards. If my DLP ever dies, I'll never be able to afford to replace it with something similar in size and PQ.
