military radioman (retired)... never thought much
of ratshack quality.

In the olden golden days... it was Pioneer, Teac,
Akai etc... for the real good stuff.
It said on them... Made in Japan !
Never saw any ratshack junk in the Military Exchanges.
I doubt a radioshack speaker-box would weigh 52-pounds...
