To be fair, there are some high-end displays that support 10-bit color per component (30-bit color). While not full Deep Color, they are still better than 8-bit per component (24-bit color) and though there may not be any sources of true Deep Color, devices that interpolate colors can make use of the extra bits to reduce color banding. The colors won't be "real", but it will still look better.
