for clarifying, guess we pretty much agree. The thing about that article, other than being written by a company that sell three or so brands of subs, is that they kinda obscured the most important issues (not to beat the room acoustics and sweet spot to death).

I really had to ask for oxygen when they went into the six subs optimal set up (20 by 25 room) and the infinite number of sub simulation.

Glad you got your set up working for you, it indeed can be challenging and takes more than just buying something and throwing it in the corner.IMO It is definitely worth it when you get your system tuned in!
