Default Where to buy 3D glasses for Panasonic ST30?

Does anyone know of a place that sells 3D glasses cheaper? I would like to buy at least 4 sets and don't want to pay $150 per pair...

Please advise

Talking 3D glasses

Sure. Go to eBay and check out 3DTV Corp's online store. I purchased 4 pair @ $40 each a couple of months ago. They work perfectly with my Panny plasma. Here is a link - http://cgi.ebay.com/Universal-3D-Gla...item2563cb8a97 . .

To piggy back what rev said, i contacted this seller directly for these glasses and he said for my ST30 he will be coming out with a new model that will work properly model "U2" so I am waiting of them. Check the thread a few posts down "comfortable 3d glasses"

Am I to assume that these aftermarket glasses will work correctly? Also, please update the thread when you hear from the seller that the 3rd gen glasses are available.

Thanks to all for the input

Just emailed him today and here was the answer:
hi
We will list the model U2 next week at $65 and it works on almost everything --like our model U but more and better-- and in my tests on two panasonics it was at least as good as the panasonic originals(also sharp sony, nvidia etc etc). I think they are the best universal glasses ever made and no maddening button pushing like x103-just one push and go and easy eye reversal and rechargeable and $65 for one.
thanks
Michael

Also, let me know what offer he accepts

Thanks, but at $75 each I think it is kind of pricey for no-brand. (even though if I offer $65 or so they will probably accept as I am planning on buying more than one pair)

There are other auctions for similar (if not identical) aftermarket products for a lot less (like $44): http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB-3D-Activ...ht_2468wt_1090

Haven't decided yet which I will end up buying. I may buy one of each so I can compare them to an authentic Panasonic pair I have placed on order.

Hmmm...they do appear to be similar. I wonder if they are indeed the same?

After looking at these pictures more closely I think they are the same glasses. If they are, then thanks for the find!

After doing some more research I think buying the authentic Panasonic glasses is the way to go. They cost $71.95 per pair directly from Panasonic and they are the 3rd generation glasses and come in 3 sizes:
http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs...550150|550152|

So screw ebay... unless off-brand "made-in-god-knows-where-and-by-who" cost around $20-$30 per pair!

The glasses shown on the Panasonic website (see my previous post) are for their Plasma TVs. The same model and price is not shown if you go to 3D Accessories under LCD TVs. There they show 2nd Generation models that cost $149 per pair.

I am wondering if there is a difference (different type of 3D glasses for LCD and plasma TVs)

I just ordered 2 pairs of the no-name glasses...I will follow up when I get a chance to test them out.

I ordered two pairs of Panasonic glasses directly from their website a week ago. Yesterday I got a message that they are on backorder and that they will let me know when they will ship. When I get them I will test them and advise the thread of my thoughts.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been really busy with the new business. I have used the glasses for Thor and Lion King...Thor didn't seem to have much of a 3D aspect but certain parts of Lion King was really cool. (Zazu flew from over your shoulder in the beginning of the movie) but since I don't have any other glasses to compare them to I'm not sure if they're any better or worse than Panasonic brand. The only thing we noticed in both movies is the glasses made everything really dark so I had to change the TV settings to vivid. My wife wore her glasses under these without a problem and they were comfortable to both of us. So for the money they seem to be worth it to me.

the new panasonic 3rd generation glasses are out. they are hard to find. my local best buy had singles medium size for 100 bucks and a two pack for 199. I would highly recommend the new glasses.
