Default Why widescreen 3d????

I recently picked up clash of the titans 3D, to watch on my 54 inch Panny and though the quality of the presentation is pretty good(not AS good as Alice), i felt a bit disappointed to be watching it in the widescreen format. I normally don't have a problem with widescreen, but using it for 3D movies is wrong!! It makes the whole experience just a lil underwhelming..whereas Alice uses every inch of the screen. SIGH..I hope they don't intend to release most movies in widescreen..

In theaters, Clash of the Titans was "scope", and Alice was "flat". Hence Titans being letterboxed and Alice not.
