walmart 3d Avatar 3 disk set

Walmart has the 3 disk set of Avatar 3D on sale for $30. I haven't had a chance to go look at it to see if its bluray or the old type 3D, does anyone know if this is the one that works with sutter glasses?

Avatar in 3D will only be available to owners of Panasonic GT or VT series 3D TVs and their is no way to get this title in 3D from any retailer. This is a Panasonic exclusive.

Also their is only one version of Avatar in 3D. I know it's confusing with all of the Avatar offers, but I am sure my information is accurate.

Sorry, I think you jumped the gun here, that's the 3 disc avatar BluRay for $30.00. You'll cause a heart attack and a stampede here with that post.

I corrected him Robert, the offer was for the 3disc Avatar BluRay

Good team work Riz.

Also Avatar 3D will only be available with purchases through authorized dealers. So it's buyer beware on where to order your GT and VT series HDTVs

Avatar best 3d movie experience I've had, just marvelous.

The only place you can secure an authentic 3D copy of Avatar is thru Panasonic authorized dealers and E-Bay.

Well hopefully people can wait for it to come out and not be duped into spending 200 on ebay for it.

Supposedly Panasonic's right do not expire til 12/2011. But by the same token I'm sure there'll be a lot of them on ebay for a much better price once the people who got them in their Panasonic package deals, have viewed them and want to unload them prices will probably reach the $50 range as they are currently going for $ 100-120 down from 200 originally.

I think the exclusive deal ends this December...so it sorta makes sense.

Do any CE's still give away discs with purchase of a 3DTV? I just bought an LG and only got glasses (didn't see any other CE offering up movies either).

I do not think so, walmart is the world largest store and provides customers with best services and products, at least I think it is.
