This Avatar 3D for Panasonic customers only is a complete joke and just another reason why I regret my 3D TV purchase.

That is the way it always goes, I sold my 2003 Smart car for almost $30,000 because I was one of the first to offer a legally converted Smart car in the US, if I had waited until now, I would have been lucky to get $8,000.

I was smart to sell it when I did, I saw the writing on the wall what with the new ones being offered for around $13,500 in 2008.

Wait until next year, you'll see more and more content coming out and I cannot see how you won't realize that 3D is more then a evolution it is a revolutionary technology for the home, as big or bigger then color was when it took over from black and white TVs.

I agree. Every time a new tecnology comes out the doomsayers hit the forums like flys on S#^%!. There vision of things seem very limited. I think 3d will get its legs in the home., I'm waiting too, just because i think 3d will get better. I saw the avatar demo Wow!
