It states the DVI port is not PC compatable because it is set for a TV signal. That means there will be overscan and you can expect a desktop that the edges are off of the screen. It will be unusable as a computer monitor. The same will be the case going in through the component connections.

You can with some work get some of the HDTV resolutions to work, but since it is a CRT unit the only clear resolution will probably be 720 x 480 which will work great for DVDs, but a bit low for computer work. Most CRT based widescreen CRTs will not do better than about 1000 x 600. 4:3 CRTs are limited to about 800 x 600.

If you were thinking you could use the TV as your computer monitor, I think you will be disappointed.
